CHONGZHEN TWO-CHARACTER MARK IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1628-1644)
The deep rounded sides painted in pale underglaze blue on the exterior with four flame-bordered roundels enclosing the characters fu lu wan nian (blessings and emoluments for ten thousand years) surrounded by continuous foliate meander, with a large xi character within a similar roundel on the interior, all reserved on a jadeite-green ground
