QIANLONG SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The high rounded shoulder of the tapering body painted with two iron-red bats alternating with two lotus, the latter positioned above two variations of lotus while the bats are positioned above further lotus flanked by peaches borne on foliate scroll, all between a band of slender petals below and a yellow-ground ruyi border and blue foliate band above, the base in turquoise enamel surrounding the reign mark
5 in. (12.7 cm.) high, wood stand, ivory cover
