A MOTTLED DARK GREEN JADE RECUMBENT BUFFALO PENDANT
Carved in the round in Shang style, with head facing forward, the horns with angular scrolls, with a bullnose channel through the mouth and lower jaw, the legs tucked under the body forming two crossed channels between them, with satiny polish; together with a thick white jade curved dragon pendant, Eastern Zhou dynasty, carved at one end with a dragon head, the upper edges of most of the body beveled to the tapering tip, with possibly later-added incised decoration, the stone semi-translucent and with some faint russet markings
