Possibly from Xinjiang province, the solid figure modeled as Sakyamuni Buddha seated on a green-painted cloth with hands clasped atop his right knee, wearing a long red cloak scored with parallel folds, the face with traces of gilding and red pigment, the hair textured in imitation of curls around a small usnisa, with further traces of gilding on the legs, the back plain
