The tapering sides engraved with rococo flowers, scrolls and fish-scale decoration, leaf-embellished spout, wood scroll handle, graduated double knop finial, one side engraved with crest

The crest is that of Eglinto(u)n represented by an anchor and the scalp of a savage's head held by a female figure symbolising Hope.
