the body carved in relief with panels depicting native figures within reeded straps, the domed cover repoussé decorated with a seated figure wearing a feather head-dress within a mountainous landscape, with the Birmingham assay mark and the makers stamp for Spooner Clowes & Co, 1824, the tripod scroll feet modelled as mythical beasts, restorations -- 5½in. (14cm) high
