Of conical form on short foot, the white ground with an elegant dark brown stylised kufic inscription around a small central dot, the exterior plain, repaired breaks, areas of repainting

The inscription around this bowl reads, al-haya' min al-iman wa'l-iman min al-janna al-hila ablagh min al-quwwa, 'Modesty comes from faith and faith['s place] is in Paradise. Stratagem is more effective than force'.
