CENTRAL IRAN, EARLY 13TH CENTURY
Of bulbous form rising from short conical foot through wide central body to thin neck with flaring mouth and cusped lip, decorated with bands of strong metallic lustre with stylised vegetal patterns, hunting animals and two bands of naskh, a band of stylised kufic around the mouth, minor chips to the foot
