COPIED FOR 'ABDULLAH KHAN IBN BAYAZ, SIGNED 'ABDULLAH BIN ASHUR, IRAN, DATED AH 1217/1802-03 AD
A collection of prayers, Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 159ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, most folios with 12ll. of neat black naskh in clouds reserved against gold ground, 2 prayers with 8ll. of similar calligraphy but with Persian interlinear translation in red nasta'liq, text panels with gold and black rules, the folios with similar outer rules, catchwords, important words picked out in red, headings similar but within gold and polychrome illuminated panels, opening bifolio with illuminated headpiece and gold illuminated margins, preceeding folio with table of contents arranged in a gold and blue squares, colophon signed and dated in red, some staining, in contemporaneous brown soft morocco with stamped medallion issuing pendants, plain brown morocco doublures
