Rising from wide conical foot through drop-shaped body with tapering neck, pronounced collar, rectangular flaring mouth with hinged domed lid, with 'S' shaped faceted handle and spout, two flat drop-shaped panels with engraved floral spray decoration and surrounding band of vegetal scrolls on either side of ewer, geometric engraving to base of spout and handle, flower head terminal to spout
