OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1580
Of square shape painted in cobalt-blue, bole red, green and turquoise, with lattice of palmettes and saz leaves capped by cusped arch, contained inside a frame of scrolling interlaced palmettes and vine foliage alternating in red and turquoise, right hand edge with glazed green cusped arches on white ground with central red heart-shaped dot, with minor area of repainting to centre of panel
