VINA REAL GRAN RESERVA
C.V.N.E., or to give it its full name, Compaña Vinicola del Norte de España (The Northern Spanish Wine Company) was established on the 24th of March 1879. It is something of a simplification to summarise CVNE's strategic aspiration for Viña Real to be Burgundian in style, yet it is clearly not entirely without foundation judging by the charm of its Pinot-like elegance. Made from primarily Tempranillo blended with small amounts of Graciano, these wines show complex and structured palates with great aging potential.
