The following lots are outstanding examples of wine perfectly suited for currently consumption. The consignor is a prodigious collector with deep interests in wines from around the world. His cellar is literally bursting at the seams with wines from Italy, France, the US and Spain. During a specialist visit, it was difficult to focus on the small sliver of cases consigned as incredible gems were seemingly jumping out from every nook and cranny of the cellar.
The consignor buys carefully from only the best and most reputable retailers. He is active in the wine community and generously donates his time and wine to various charity endeavors nationally.
These lots well represent the passions of the consignor, as on offer are bottles from Bordeaux to Madeira, California to Rhone. Highlights include, of course, Lafite from standout vintages in the 1980's, an assortment of drinking wines from the famed 2000 vintage, magnums of Krug and pre-war Burgundy. Samples from this cellar were uniformly excellent.
