By the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Nicholas I
The first circular with gilt scalloped rim, the center decorated with a gilt rosette, the border with red, green and blue strapwork ornament and Imperial double-headed eagles; the second circular, the center painted with a medallion of varicolor stylized flowerheads and scrolling foliage a black ground, within a band of green palmettes on a gilt ciselé ground, the rim painted to simulate jewels; marked under bases with underglaze blue factory marks and pink inventory numbers
