Of baluster form with spiral-molded neck and gilt scroll handle, one side finely painted after Bouguereau with a putto capturing a butterfly, the other after Landelle with a three-quarter length portrait of Ruth, within a gilt oval surround and further foliate motifs on polychrome panels
