The rectangular brocatelle jaune de Jura marble top above a scrolled-acanthus and musical putti-mounted frieze fronted by a spring-activated drawer, the fall-front centered with a gilt-lacquer panel decorated with figures beside palm trees, opening to a gilt-tooled leather writing surface and an ebony-veneered interior fitted with four drawers and central recess, the angles mounted with basket-bearing caryatids, the sides with rectangular lacquer panels of landscapes, the lower section with similarly lacquered sides and central drawer fronted by a festooned urn, on fluted front legs and square paneled rear legs, joined by a pierced stretcher, on tapering frond-cast feet, the reverse stamped A BEURDELEY A PARIS three times
