For a similar double crab example see M. Katz and R. Lehr, Palissy Ware, London, 1996, p. 179, fig. 241. Also compare the signed example from the Collection 'Fenouil', Biot, Christie's, New York, 23 April 2004, lot 331. Alfred Renoleau is known to have moved to Angoulême in 1891.
