The rectangular molded cornice and frieze above an astragal glazed door enclosing two adjustable shelves, the lower section fitted with four mahogany-lined long graduated drawers, the second drawer fitted with a gilt-tooled green leather writing slide concealing fitted compartments, on tall splayed legs, the top drawer with a trade label, M. HARRIS & SONS 44/52 NEW OXFORD STREET LONDON W.C.1, handles replaced
