The rectangular banded top inset with a gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface and conforming pull-out writing slides, above three frieze drawers with bead mounts flanked by paterae, on tapering stop-fluted legs with chandelles and sabots, stamped twice to the underside of the frame P.GARNIER
