Château Haut-Brion--Vintage 1982
Pessac (Graves), 1er cru classé. Château-bottled
Levels: ten 2cm or better; two 2.5cm; one very lightly corroded capsule, one wrinkled capsule, three lightly bin soiled label
In original wooden case
"A monument to both the vintage and to Haut-Brion, this bottle is a beautiful expression of the Graves terroir. The nose is impressive, with a pronounced aroma of plums, currants, and figs overlaid with savory, earthy notes. The wine is still very youthful and lacks the notes of cedar and lead pencil that develop with time. On the palate the wine is really rich, with a luxuriously full body, firm tannins and great extract." CC, January 2010
