Each of the six bright blue guilloche enamel circular buttons within an engraved surround, accompanied by two letters one dated June 10th 1908, referring to the buttons as the work of Princess Louise Augusta of Schleswig Holstein, the other dated August 4th 1908 referring to return of the buttons, "which you purchased at the Franco-British Exhibition",maker's fitted case
