A LONDON DELFT BLUE AND WHITE DATED 'CURLES' SALT
1675, PROBABLY SOUTHWARK
The shallow circular bowl with a broad flat rim issuing three scrolled struts, supported by a spreading foot, painted with the initials ·A·W·/1675 between stars, the border with three flowerheads issuing scrolls, the foot painted with a butterfly resting on a lotus leaf and further blooms between blue lines (two scrolls restored, slight retouching to well)
