CIRCA 1720, PROBABLY LONDON
Each of conventional form, named for ·TDECARABE·, ·TROCH.ALKEK·, P·L:COCHÆMINO, ·TROCH.CAPPAR· and ·P··RUSSY·, each within and elongated shaped rectangular label surmounted by a basket flanked by birds, the label supported by a winged mask suspending swags of flowers (some minor restoration)

TROCH ALKEK: Trochiscus or lozenge of Alkekengi, the Winter Cherry Physalis Alkekengi.
PL.COCHIÆ MINO: Cocciae, pilulae which are purgative pills composed of Scammony, Closynth and other ingredients.
TROCH.CAPPAR: a lozenge of Capparis or capers, made from the flower buds of the shrub Capparis spinosa.
P.RUSSY: Rufi, pilulae, anti-pestilential pills containing Socorta Aloes, Myrhh and Saffron, named after Rufus of Ephesus, a first century A.D. anatomist and physician.
