comprising a box and cover, brushrest, two bowls, a ruyi sceptre and seals, all decorated with bamboo sprays and lines of calligraphy -- the sceptre 9in.(20.9cm) long, each piece signed Shisou; two similar Japanese bronze pear-shaped vases with lappet shaped bands -- 7¼in. (18.4cm) high; a bronze cylindrical hanging vase, decorated in relief with gourds -- 8in. (20.3cm) high.
