FIRST EDITION OF THIS SCARCE ACCOUNT OF THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR. The text is believed to have been written by Bradstreet himself, and describes his crossing of Lake Ontario and capture of Fort Frontenac. RARE: according to American Book Prices Current only two copies have sold in at least 30 years, the last being the Seibert copy in 1999. Howes B-711; Sabin 7301; Streeter Sale II:1023.
