One of three 1757 American editions of the Mémoire contenant le Précis dais faits (Paris, 1756): the French answer to the English white paper on the war on the Ohio. The work covers the subject of French rights to the territory and includes extracts from the Journal kept by George Washington on the 1754 expedition to fortify the forks of the Ohio that ended with his surrender at Fort Necessity.
