See Rudolf E.A. Drey, Apothecary Jars, London, 1978, p. 214, where he notes citrace; citraggine or citrago was a lemon-balm. For two other examples of the same form in Gillet Collection, see C. Fiocco, et al., Majoliques Italiennes du Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Lyon, Dijon, 2001, pp. 98-99, nos. 62-63; the former is also illustrated by Drey, ibid., p. 43, no. 14a.
