A Pair of Cloisonné Vases
Meiji Period (late 19th century)
Each inlaid in various coloured cloisonné enamels on a dark blue ground with chrysanthemums and other flowers growing from rocks beside a stream, the neck and foot with further flowers and scrolls, copper rim to neck, gilt liner, and silver rim to base stamped jungin [pure silver]
Both 18.2cm. high
