These bottles and magnums are pristine. Bought en primeur and sent directly to professional wine storage, the consignor never even took delivery of these wines before putting them to auction.

"The 2008 Lafite shows a great ripeness of currant and black cherry fruit on the nose. On the palate there is both silk and velvet - very fine, yet round and full, with a tannic structure of surpassing elegance and great length. Definitely one of the top five wines of the vintage."
