BEAULIEU BURGUNDY RESERVE
"In this age of the automaton and the heedless we should note well when Nature grants us a rarity. This 1968 Napa Valley Burgundy, an uncommonly spectacular wine is that kind of occurrence. It was produced entirely from grapes grown in our Vineyards No. 2 and No. 4. WE have shipped 1968 Burgundy for some time, and it has met with unusual success. But, from the entire harvest there was a limited amount of 1968 which stood apart from all the rest. We held this in our cellars knowing it would develop into an extraordinary wine. This Beaulieu Burgundy has a classical bouquet, perfect balance, and is definitely a little shining star among Napa Valley Wines. This wine is extremely limited and Beaulieu has not produced two Burgundy labels in the 1969 or 1970 vintages."
