Painted in the manner of C.F. Herold, with figures in harbour scenes with distant shipping and turreted buildings within gilt quatrefoil cartouches, the inside of the cover with a similar scene on a gold ground, the underside of the base with figures at discussion before a tower (some wear to gilt cartouches on base and to enamels of underside of base)
