rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover, base and sides with taille d'épargne navy-blue enamel decorated with acanthus leaves and other scrolling foliage, the lid centered with an oval reserve containing trophies of music and gardening, the base centred with a harp, the four corners decorated with foliage within vertical bands of polished gold; in later fitted grey leather case stamped 'Wartski'
