circular gold box, the cover, sides and base with translucent violet enamel on an engine-turned gound of concentric reeding, the independent cover centered with an oval enamel plaque depicting a young lady before a statue of Cupid, within a frame of raised chased foliage and berries enamelled in translucent red and green, the outer borders and side dividers similarly decorated
