Each shaped circular and on four foliage-capped scroll feet, engraved with two coats-of-arms accolé below an earl's coronet, each marked on the reverse
22 3/8 in. (57 cm.) diam.

The arms are those of Primrose quartering Cressy accolé with those of Rothschild for Archibald Philip Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery, (1847-1929) and his wife Hannah (d.1890), only daughter and heiress of Baron Mayer Amschel de Rothschild, of Mentmore, who he married in 1878. (2)
