Shaped oblong on four shaped feet, with two scroll handles, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on the reverse, further marked with a design registration number

The arms are those of Primrose quartering Cressy for Archibald Philip Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery, (1847-1929).
