Acquired by Sir Sydney Barratt from Alfred Spero, 20 January 1956 (as a bronze relief of an angel by Nicola Roccatagliata, 16th century), for Summerhill, Staffordshire and later installed at Crowe Hall, Bath, 1961 and by descent.
