A GROUP OF JADEITE CARVINGS
Comprising eighteen multi-coloured jadeite foods of opaque to translucent material, finely carved as nine pairs of coconut, date, ginger, lily, lotus root, lotus seed, peanut, taro and walnut, representing the rebuses 'good couple created by heaven' and 'may you have many precious sons', to the black jadeite plate, plate 25.0 cm long
Accompanied by report nos. KJ59195 and KJ59196 dated 29 March 2011 from the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the carvings are natural jadeite and no polymer is detected (19)
