M.Chalabi, M-R. Jazé-Charvolin et al, L'orfèvrerie de Lyon et de Trévoux du XVe aux XXe siècle, Paris, 2000, p. 287, no. 161 illustrates, from a private collection, a tureen of the same model by Jacques Deberc 1766-72. It is complete with a stand and cover with large artichoke finial and is applied with the arms of Aynard of Bresse within cartouches very similar to the present examples. It is suggested that the applied shields are of Italian origin.
