Hammered from a single heavy sheet, of domed form, the neck-guard flaring, the cheek-guards pointed at their ends, the almond-shaped eye holes bevelled at the edges and contoured at their outer corners, the rounded nose-guard protruding, bordered along the perimeter with perforations and tiny raised rivets, perforations on the crown of the head, larger perforations on either side at the edge of the cheek-guards
