According to McPhee and Trendall (Greek Red-figured Fish-plates, p.140), the Eyebrow Painter's work is recognized by the well-defined eyebrow in the shape of a flattened capital omega, as seen here on the perch. For a similar example see no. IVB/76 in McPhee and Trendall, op. cit.
