CIRCA 1ST-2ND CENTURY A.D.
Depicted lifesized, standing with his weight on his left leg, the sandaled foot turned out, the left leg bent back at the knee, the toe planted and the heel raised, wearing a long tunic with shallow cascading folds descending on the chest, and a voluminous mantle over the left shoulder, enveloping his left arm, his arm held close to his body, bent at the elbow, clutching the folds in his hand, his right arm now largely lost, the mantle bunched horizontally across his waist, with a corner descending below in a large triangle, and vertical zigzag fold falling below his left arm, on an integral plinth, with a rounded rock as the support
