CIRCA 2ND CENTURY A.D.
From a child's sarcophagus, embellished with foliate garlands in high relief, centered by a nude Cupid, standing on a dolphin, holding the left garland in his hands, the garland ties extending out on either side behind his head, the space above the festoons with masks of Medusa, with flowing serpentine locks, flanked by draped figures of Victoria holding palm branches
