Although more than one painter used a mark of a script M and that of four dots, the date letter Z confirms Mme Amable-Christine Morin, active at the factory 1774-1790, as the painter responsible for the bouquets and Pierre-Théodore Buteux, a.k.a. "Théodore" and active 1765-1780, as having both painted the blue feathered border and gilt the rim.
