Tasting note: Very pale ruby colour. Wow a nose singing beautifully of Chambolle! Intense, fragrant aromas of violets, pomegranate, warm cherries, fresh figs, cured meats and a dash of nutmeg. Within a few moments comes the earthy forest floor undercurrent. The palate is very rich in the middle with medium to high acidity and a medium level of silky tannins. Very long finish. 95 points.
