Tasting note: Mineral-dominated with surprisingly fine acidity for the vintage is the dense purple-colored 2003 St.-Joseph Les Granits (600 cases). A glorious bouquet of spring flowers, blackberries, raspberries, crushed rocks, and truffles is followed by a dense, full-bodied, powerful, tannic, backward St.-Joseph.
