Tasting note: There are 577 cases of the 2005 Côte-Rôtie La Mordorée. This deep ruby/purple wine exhibits loads of tannin, bits of bacon fat, cassis, and a steely personality with superb depth, but an abundance of structure and tannin, and also displays tobacco leaf and a hint of fig.
