ESTIENNE, Charles (1504-1564). Praedium rusticum. Paris: Charles Estienne, 1554. 8° (170 x 109mm). Woodcut title device. (Occasional light old stains.) Contemporary calf gilt, covers with gilt ropework borders surrounding central arabesque and outer blind rules, gilt spine compartments with raised bands and green morocco label, title inscribed on fore-edge (corners bumped, spine chipped at head and with small tear at tail). Provenance: Cholmondeley (library label).
