(Title and dedication browned and spotted, some spotting and light browning throughout, very small paper flaw in outer margin of title, title starting to detach at upper inner gutter.) RARE FIRST EDITION: according to ABPC-online, no copy has sold at auction since 1979. STC states that this work was 'issued with' Thomas James's An apologie for lohn Wickliffe, and Madan that 'this book is usually found with the James volume', but Hazlitt and Lowndes treat it as a separate work.
