FIRST EDITION, FIRST SEPARATELY PUBLISHED ISSUE. The present work is no. 1 in the Coming Men on Coming Questions series edited by W.T. Stead, which was later republished as a complete work (cf. Woods B2). It represents Churchill's first published stance on the Free Trade question after he had crossed the floor to the Liberals in 1904. RARE. According to ABPC-online, only 2 copies of this separate issue have sold at auction since 1975. Woods A7/1.
