QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY
Carved in the form of a chrysanthemum blossom with undulating rows of slender overlapping petals radiating from the centre up to the scalloped rim, raised on a conforming petal-carved foot, the semi-translucent stone of pale greyish-white colour with russet veining
4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) wide, wood stand, box
